Editor’s Note

In communities where the need is great, we are better when we work together. When we support each other. When we exchange ideas. When we pull our resources together for the greater good.

More Life Magazine is a collection of stories, resources and innovative ideas that relate to the experiences of people of color affected by breast cancer. Presented by The Missing Pink Breast Cancer Alliance, our vision is to equip those facing the worst disparities and the people who care for them with the knowledge of support available beyond their backyard. And to inspire community leaders to implement policies and practices that move the needle on health equity at the local level.

While this first edition has a strong emphasis on the experiences of Black and Latino/Hispanic people affected by breast cancer, it is my hope that through the power of partnerships More Life Magazine will not only emerge as a go-to resource, it will become a connection point for change agents, and a larger reflection of hope and possibility for all communities of color.
